Apartment Life in Locust Grove
A tranquil community in Henry County, in the late 1800s Locust Grove was named after a beautiful grove of locust trees that could be seen throughout the town. A quick 35 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta, Locust Grove is growing at a rapid pace, with a population of over 5,000 residents and many new businesses emerging in the area. One of the town’s most important sites is the Locust Grove Institute, built in 1894 and one of the first accredited schools in Georgia. Today it is a historic landmark that has been fully restored to house various government offices.
